Some of these issues can be handled through lifestyle changes and nutritional support. For others you will need the assistance of a health practitioner.

Common Symptoms

  • Frequent belching
  • Foul smelling gas
  • Feeling bloated
  • Frequent diarrhea
  • Irregular bowel movements
  • Alternating between constipation and diarrhea
  • Pain in the pit of the stomach
  • Acid reflux
  • Pain anywhere in the abdomen
  • Rectal itching
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Intolerance to fat
  • Bitter metallic taste in mouth

Common Causes

  • Deficiency of stomach acid
  • Deficiency of enzymes
  • Deficiency of necessary minerals
  • Allergies and food sensitivities
  • Gluten and wheat sensitivity
  • Dairy sensitivity
  • Low bile production
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Candida overgrowth
  • Chronic toxicity displacing minerals
  • Poor diet
  • Irregular sleep
  • Chronic stress

Lifestyle Changes

  • Try to identify if the pain coincide with the consumption of certain food:
    • In particular, gluten, wheat, alcohol, excess caffeine, processed food with preservatives and colorants, tomatoes and genetically modified food (corn, soy etc). If you identify the culprit stop using it for a minimum of 3 months and then reintroduce it and see what happens.
  • Foods such as chopped meat and starchy foods tend to interfere with the ileocecal valve and create intestinal cramping and pain in the upper back
  • Drink enough water – dehydration is a major cause of inflammation
  • Sleep at least 8 hours daily – trying to catch up on weekend does not work
  • Learn and practice techniques of stress management – meditation, relaxation, contemplation, mindfulness
  • Exercise moderately and regularly
  • Chew your food carefully and do not drink while eating
  • Avoid excess caffeine and alcohol

Nutritional Support

The Prime Formula contains all the needed minerals, vitamins, and digestive enzymes plus omega 3 to regulate the nerves and the brain, probiotics to support the gut, and 13 herbs to optimize physical and psychological balance.

Because of the depletion of nutrients in our food most of us need a good supplement regimen to maintain optimal physical and emotional balance.
